Viet Nam’s Da Nang has been named as the winner of Travelers' Choice Award for Destinations on the Rise for 2015 by TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel site. The top 10 “Destinations on the Rise” in the World also included Sihanoukville (Cambodia), Limassol (Cyprus), Ao Nang (Thailand), Bodrum City (Turkey), Naha (Japan), Hurghada (Egypt), Kazan (Russia), Manaus (Brazil) and Eilat (Israel).
“Destinations on the Rise” listed cities around the word that have seen the highest increase in positive feedback and interest from the TripAdvisor community over the last year. The travel site described the rapidly developing Da Nang as a beacon for foodies, who flock here to sample the famously fresh and bold flavors of Central Viet Nam’s cuisine. In addition, the city is known for its tranquil beaches, Buddhist sanctuaries, and most notably the limestone caves and grottoes of the Marble Mountains.
